WHAT I DO
Working at the intersection of PSA (psychology, sociology, anthropology) and consumer behaviour, I research the sociocultural aspects of consumption. My research particularly focus on the culture of consumption and the consumption of culture via various phenomena and contexts, such as acculturation, immigration, and multiculturalism. I am also interested in EDI and social sustainability.
I teach, mark and assist in social sciences, business/marketing, and research training programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I develop learning resources for university-level studies.
I provide students at all levels of study with support and guidance in a wide range of academic literacy and skills.
I collaborate with professionals from different disciplines and sectors (academic and industry) to organise conferences, workshops and seminars on a wide range of topics, such as EDI, sustainability, and research methods in social sciences.
As part of the academic community, I regularly review papers for academic journals and conferences, such as the Consumer Culture Theory (CCTC) and Australian & New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC).
